Terms of Use
Effective June 2, 2026
What this is. This site provides the Data Parser Engine ("DPE") and Schema Studio — tools for turning data files into normalized records.
Provided "as is." DPE, the Studio, and this site are provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We don't guarantee the tools are error-free or that any parse is correct or complete.
You're responsible for your results. Parsing is automated and best-effort. You are responsible for verifying any output before relying on it. Don't make DPE the sole control for a decision where an incorrect parse would cause loss without checking the results yourself.
Limitation of liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SMISCO is not liable for any damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — DPE, the Studio, or this site, including loss arising from incorrect or incomplete parsing.
Acceptable use. Don't attempt to disrupt, attack, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the site or its infrastructure, and don't use it to break the law.
Intellectual property. DPE is open source under the MIT License (see the repository). It bundles third-party libraries under their own permissive licenses (MIT, Apache-2.0, BSD); their notices ship with the code. Site content and branding © SMISCO.
Governing law. Governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, USA.
Changes. We may update these terms; the effective date will change when we do.
