The short version: this site collects nothing about you. No cookies, no analytics, no third-party requests — it is a static page and a download.
What we collect
Nothing. There are no accounts, no sign-up, no contact forms, and no analytics. We do not build a profile of you and we have nothing to sell or share.
Cookies and local storage
None. The site sets no cookies and writes nothing to your browser’s local storage or anywhere else on your device.
Third-party requests
None. Everything the page needs — the markup, the fonts, the documentation viewer — is served from this site’s own domain. There are no content-delivery networks, no font services, no trackers, no embedded widgets, and no advertising. Loading the site contacts no one but our own web host.
The software you self-host
This policy covers this website. Link Menu System is software you install and operate yourself, on your own infrastructure. Once you deploy it, the data it stores — your link configuration, the admin account, and its flat-file JSON — lives on your server, under your control. We never receive it and have no access to it. The software itself makes no calls home: it has no telemetry and contacts no smisco service.
Server logs
Like virtually every web server, our hosting provider may record standard access-log entries when a file is requested — typically your IP address, the time, the file requested, and your browser’s user-agent string. These logs exist for normal site operation and security, are not used to track or identify you, and are not combined with any other data. We do not add anything beyond what ordinary web hosting produces.
Links out
Pages here link to external sites such as GitHub. Once you follow such a link, the privacy practices of that site apply — not this one.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the “last updated” date above changes with it. Given how little the site does, substantive changes are unlikely.
