These terms cover the stripe-subscription-kit software and this website at smisco.biz/ssk. By downloading, installing, or using the kit, you accept them.

License

stripe-subscription-kit is free, open-source software released under the MIT License — see the LICENSE file. You may use, copy, modify, and redistribute it under those terms. The MIT text governs your rights in the software; the rest of this page is plain-language context, not additional restrictions.

No warranty

The software and this site are provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the authors and copyright holders are not liable for any claim, damages, or other liability arising from the software or its use. You are responsible for testing it for your own purposes before relying on it — especially around payments and subscription state.

What it does — and does not do

stripe-subscription-kit is a PHP library that wraps Stripe's subscription lifecycle (Checkout, Customer Portal, webhooks, access gating, admin operations). It runs inside your application and calls the Stripe API using the keys you supply. It never touches a database directly — your app implements the storage interfaces — and it sends nothing to smisco. Your relationship with Stripe, and your handling of customer and payment data, remain yours and are governed by Stripe's terms.

Availability

This site is offered as a convenience and may change or become unavailable at any time without notice. Once you have a copy of a release, it keeps working regardless of the site.
